Why it's important

Low overhead.  Chip & Kathy Olson do much of the administration work normally done by a large staff in other construction companies.  The resulting low overhead is passed to the owners as saving to their projects.  Once a project is acquired Olson will perform all preconstruction services, project management and, depending on the size and scope of the work, superintendent services.  Supervisory employees will be added only as needed. 

Excellent estimating, management and field supervision skills.  Olson has over 30 years of experience in commercial general contracting.  As a Certified Professional Estimator, Chip Olson understands detailed costs of many different components of a construction project.  With many years of field experience in the construction of buildings, parking garages, residential and medical facilities, pump stations, reservoirs, pipelines and other projects, Olson has extensive knowledge of the building process.  

Local knowledge and relationships.  As a builder in San Diego for over 30 years, Olson knows the leaders of many of the key companies in our industry.  We have long term relationships with many architects, owners, subcontractors, construction managers, engineers and vendors.  These relationships built for us a reputation of trust, integrity and competence which is very important to building successful projects in Southern California.
