Over 100 years of excellence serving our clients

Four generations of history

Olson Construction Company is a fourth generation general contractor with a history of excellence in construction for over one hundred years throughout the western and central United States.

Little did the young Swedish immigrant who arrived in Nebraska with but twenty-five cents in his pocket, little did he dream of the important, permanent contribution his life in Nebraska was to make in the building of the Midland empire. From 1881 until his death in 1945, Charles Olson devoted his thought and energy to the development of this great new land. Throughout the middlewest and west, the hundreds of monuments of concrete, stone, brick and steel that represent the construction achievements of the company that bears his name, carry the unmistakeable hallmark of quality building that has distinguished Olson Construction since the company's origin in the middle 1880's. His life personifies the true philosophy of America: "Truly a land of inexhaustible opportunity if one is willing to work diligently and honestly to develop those opportunities."
